Dear Colleagues,
We live in an information-driven world.
The instructional, research, outreach and engagement, and economic development goals of Michigan State University require on-demand access to broadly diverse sources of information from around the world. At the same time, MSU's daily operations depend upon reliable, efficient systems for sharing and safeguarding internal data.
Libraries, Computing & Technology is the unit tasked with providing these essential services and resources. We're on the front lines of institutional and public service, with approximately 60,000 institutional users, hundreds of thousands of regional information users, and many more globally, depending on us to keep the networks connecting and the information flowing every day, around the clock. Your gift to one of the units listed below will help support and build LC&T:
- The MSU Libraries, drawing more than 6,000 visitors on an average day, while the virtual collections log 1.2 million users a year.
- WKAR Radio and TV, delivering AM, FM, and digital TV programming to a half-million listeners and viewers in the mid-Michigan area each week.
- The University Archives & Historical Collections, preserving our great institution's memory for the future.
Your financial contribution to LC&T works to sustain and build the University's information infrastructure and availability of information content, critical elements for our success in the 21st century. Please join with us in supporting MSU's mission, now and in the future.
