MSU donor levels honor those whose significant financial support empowers Michigan State. The university is proud to acknowledge them with recognition in our annual giving levels.

These giving levels recognize donors who make giving annually to MSU a priority.

Loyalty Level Giving donors receive:

Annual recognition materials including an annual report
The Spartan, MSU's alumni magazine
Access to special MSU programming and events

Recognition begins July 1 each year and is based on gifts made during MSU’s previous fiscal year (July 1 – June 30).

Spartan Loyal donors give between $100 – $499 per year.

A $100 gift can: provide text books, supplies, or meals for students struggling to make ends meet.

Recognizes donors whose annual gifts of $1,000 or more help pave the way for student success and deliver extraordinary opportunities for learning and discovery at Michigan State.

Giving at the leadership level opens doors of opportunity for both current and future Spartans. Whether for academics, research, athletics or the arts, annual leadership gifts ensure students are on a path to success and well on their way to having an extraordinary impact in Michigan, the country and beyond.

Leadership Circle donors receive exclusive services and recognition:

The Spartan, MSU's alumni magazine
Invitations to special MSU programming and events
Annual recognition materials including an annual report and year-in-review
Online honor roll name listing

Recognition begins July 1 each year and is based on gifts made during MSU’s previous fiscal year (July 1 – June 30).

Spartan Strong donors give $1,000 – $2,499 per year.

Spartan Proud donors give $500 – $999 per year.

Spartan Great donors give $2,500 – $4,999 per year.

Spartan Bold donors give $5,000 – $9,999 per year.

Spartan Inspired donors give $10,000 – $19,999 per year.

Spartan Extraordinary donors give $20,000 or more per year.
